Airbnb's AirCover team ideates, builds, launches, and manages the AirCover business to support Hosts and Guests when bookings do not go as planned. This role is responsible for planning, program management, and driving frameworks and execution across AirCover to deliver best-in-class services.
Responsibilities
- Build and refine frameworks for program management and planning across AirCover.
- Reengineer existing project management processes to meet future needs.
- Develop project/program plans and readiness trackers for multiple, business-critical initiatives.
- Lead and manage ongoing planning activities for the AirCover business.
- Track execution progress through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Stand up and lead meeting series with cross-functional partners to track, drive, and complete work.
- Independently manage and deliver large, cross-functional projects of notable risk and complexity.
- Drive high-impact projects and contribute to strategy development through creative analysis and broad working experience.
- Identify root causes of complex problems, determine business priorities, and form groups to resolve issues swiftly.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in planning and program management.
- Demonstrated success independently managing and delivering large, complex projects with broad, cross-functional reach and influence.
- Expert in project management and planning tools such as Asana, AirTable, and Google Suite; familiarity with Keynote.
- Experience with paid insurance offers offered online (preferred).
- PMP certification or similar (preferred).
- Proven ability to develop and sustain effective relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders; strong negotiation and influencing skills up to VP/executive level.
- Exceptional communicator, able to craft and deliver compelling narratives and generate buy-in for strategic initiatives.
- Skilled at leading meeting series with cross-functional partners; fosters inclusion and talent development across teams.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills; able to prioritize and mobilize teams under ambiguity or pressure.
- Attentive to detail and focused on continuously optimizing team processes.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base pay range: $188,000β$235,000 USD.
- This role may be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
- Remote-eligible within the United States (must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity); may include occasional office work or offsites as agreed with manager.
