Responsibilities
- Ensuring the continuity of existing GIS applications and the availability of geographical data.
- Developing and enhancing GIS applications to support various energy transition projects, including the heat network, solar, and wind markets.
- Communicating with end-users to gather requirements, address incidents, and refine new functionality.
- Demonstrating new GIS functionality to end-users and stakeholders, and integrating their feedback.
- Working collaboratively in a DevOps team to deliver enhancements iteratively during sprints, facilitated by Azure DevOps.
- Peer reviewing work to maintain high quality standards in the Azure cloud environment.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor or Master’s degree in e.g. Information Technology or Geo Information Science.
- Experience with ArcGIS development and ArcGIS Enterprise/Online administration.
- Experience with development in (preferably) Python or other programming languages.
- Experience with FME Workspace development and FME Server/Flow administration or willingness to learn.
- Ability to understand and create SQL queries; experience with Snowflake is a plus.
- Ability to work in a DevOps team in various roles (user support, development, review).
- Excellent communication skills in English and able to communicate in Dutch at least at B1 level.
