Team

The Agent Productivity Tools (APT) team is part of Coinbase’s Enterprise Applications and Architecture org, focused on building customer experience platforms that streamline customer service and compliance processes using innovative services, tools, and applications, improving customer satisfaction and compliance.

Role

You will build applications enabling Coinbase Customer Agents and other users to improve productivity, drive automation, and deliver scale impact through AI/ML technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Build complete user features including front and backend with React, JS frameworks, Golang, and cloud technologies.
  • Lead assessment and implementation of third-party AI/ML tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, security, data, and engineering teams to solve complex problems.
  • Enhance Coinbase's platform and development practices.
  • Innovate and transform ideas into action.
  • Anticipate issues and adapt to avoid adverse impacts.
  • Communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor team members on design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, metrics, and scaling.
  • Work with global teams across multiple time zones.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years software engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years developing large-scale systems with Golang and cloud technologies.
  • Experience shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and component-based frameworks like React.
  • Proven integration of AI/ML APIs into web applications.
  • Experience with third-party vendor integrations.
  • Knowledge of large-scale, high-traffic platforms and scalable service implementations.
  • Experience contributing to technical architecture.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, BuildKite or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of rate limiters, caching, load balancing, circuit breakers, metrics, logging, tracing, debugging.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ), SQL or NoSQL databases, gRPC, GraphQL, ETL concepts.
  • Proficiency in Go.
