Role overview
We are looking for an experienced BCO and IT Risk Management Team Lead to join our team and take ownership of developing and implementing our Non Financial risk management strategy. You will lead an existing team of experts - including Business Control Officers, Key Control Testers (SOX/ICS), and Security/IT Risk Officers - and drive its further development, collaborate with key stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulations and best practices in IT risk management.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Lead Business Control II".
Responsibilities
- Planning, coaching, assessing and professionalizing your team members
- Recruiting and onboarding new talents
- Support your teams in development and calibration
- Make sure that the team results are of the highest quality
- Interacting with multiple stakeholders
- Set standards for developing, innovating and safeguarding craftsmanship/knowledge in the field of expertise
- Share knowledge and make sure team members have appropriate competencies and skills
- Review the current implementation of IT Security services
Requirements
- Experience managing teams and developing talent
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an IT Risk Officer, auditor, security manager or in other security-related roles
- Communicative, flexible and goal-oriented
- Willingness to learn, understand and adapt to new requirements
- Willingness to take over responsibility
- Strong written communication skills and presentation skills
- English level: B2/C1
