Bloomberg is a global financial information and news leader delivering data, news and analytics through innovative technology. This Customer Support role is part of Bloomberg's User Support business and focuses on providing technical support and excellent customer service to clients using Bloomberg products, including the Bloomberg Terminal.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Bloomberg terminal-related hardware and software issues via phone, email and Bloomberg Instant Messaging.
  • Install and set up Bloomberg software, licenses, and logins; configure proprietary hardware (e.g., biometric authentication devices and keyboards).
  • Provide technical & login support for Bloomberg mobile and desktop applications.
  • Proactively reach out to clients for license, hardware, and software setups to ensure timely, secure access to products.
  • Provide technical training to clients (including senior executives) on the Bloomberg Terminal and connect clients to internal teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across regions to resolve complex issues while maintaining clear communication and adherence to company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English (written and verbal).
  • Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident/green card holder, refugee, asylee).
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service through live interactive media (phone, messaging, etc.).
  • Demonstrated interest in finance and/or technology; willingness to learn new technologies and retain information.
  • Careful attention to detail, strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Availability to start full-time work in 2026 and occasionally work weekends or on a bank holiday (weekday off in lieu).

  • Curiosity to identify, research, and resolve customer technology, software and hardware issues.
  • Awareness of data management, privacy and information security.
  • Aptitude to work within highly connected and software-based systems.

Training

  • All new hires receive an 8-week training program covering Bloomberg products and services, introduction to global financial markets, daily inquiries, product setup, hardware and troubleshooting.
