Details

Bloomberg Intelligence (BI) conducts in-depth research on companies to help stock and bond investors evaluate those companies. BI research combines written analysis with interactive charting and analytics created from company-reported, industry, and government data. Analysts review, check, and curate data into comprehensive dashboards to support research and provide Bloomberg Terminal users a platform to view and analyze the data.

This role is a research analyst focusing on the technology sector with differentiated coverage of generative AI, cybersecurity, quantum computing, robotics, drones, and autonomous driving. A good understanding of LLMs and datacenters is a plus. You will deliver timely, high-quality content and help grow BI's data offering.

Responsibilities

Leverage knowledge of technology companies to create industry and company investment research on a regular basis.
Build bottom-up financial models leveraging Bloomberg data for company primer initiation.
Monitor, interpret, and react to major company developments; identify macro themes and trends affecting investments.
Work closely with the global Tech coverage manager to coordinate and collaborate on analysis.
Develop and maintain relationships with investors, industry and market professionals, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies.
Participate in and initiate marketing events such as webinars, round-tables, and conferences to commercialize research ideas.
Work with Global Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets of target companies.

Requirements

4+ years of experience with an advanced degree in a technology area.
Experience interpreting financial statements and financial modelling.
Experience using AI tools to enhance financial analysis, earnings review, document synthesis, or thematic research.
Knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accounting.
Exceptional primary research and writing skills.
Self-starter, independent thinker and collaborative team player.
Strong organization skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in both spoken and written English and other Asian languages for regional and China market coverage.
Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization.

Benefits

Salary Range: 150000 - 210000 USD annually + benefits + bonus.
