About the team
The Brand Studio team at Stripe functions as an internal creative agency, crafting cohesive and scalable brand systems that connect with customers and amplify Stripe’s presence across every touchpoint. From campaigns and events to packaging, digital products, and publications, we’re responsible for shaping Stripe’s brand and bringing it to life in innovative and culturally relevant ways.
Our work is rooted in insight-driven strategies, collaboration, and creativity. We develop groundbreaking concepts, visual systems, and storytelling that not only elevate the Stripe brand but also drive business objectives. Working closely with cross-functional partners and external collaborators, we aim to create experiences that resonate globally while tailoring to local markets.
What you’ll do
We’re seeking a self-motivated, multidisciplinary Brand Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll lead the creation and evolution of brand systems, marketing campaigns, and creative assets that scale seamlessly across digital, physical and product experiences. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and exceptional craftsperson with experience designing robust brand systems and delivering breakthrough creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- * Brand Systems Leadership: Design and evolve scalable brand systems, ensuring consistency, cohesion, and cultural relevance across all surfaces and touchpoints.
- Creative Ideation and Execution: Develop innovative concepts and storytelling strategies that drive brand expression and inform system design, setting new standards for quality and impact.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and external agencies, to deliver creative solutions aligned with business and user goals.
- Project Oversight: Manage high-profile projects from concept to delivery, maintaining a strategic and hands-on approach to ensure timely, polished outcomes.
- Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and cultural shifts to inspire and inform design decisions.
- Craftsmanship: Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail in every aspect of design and production, from asset creation to final execution.

Minimum requirements
- 6+ years of experience in brand design, art direction, or a related field, ideally within technical or product-driven companies.
- Proven expertise in creating and scaling brand systems that span digital and physical mediums.
- A portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and execution of brand systems and campaigns.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Keynote.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience managing agencies, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

- Multidisciplinary creativity, with expertise across a range of mediums, from 3D and animations.

Hybrid work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.
Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $159,300 - $238,900. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
