As a Business Analyst  you can make a difference

Within the Tribe Global Data & Analytics Platform you will work in the centre of the data driven enterprise. The tribe contains 4 areas:

  • Onboarding & Support
  • Governance Platform
  • Data Platform
  • Analytics Platform

For about 30 squads are divided over these areas. In many of the teams we are working on software engineering. We need your help to design, build and run ground-breaking solutions that are as valuable to our 7 million customers.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst  in Rabobank Global Data & Analytics Platform Tribe, with the ability to build high-quality solutions that fit the needs of our stakeholders. As a Business analyst, you play a crucial role in Collaborating, Analysing and Guiding teams on business goals and requirements.

Above all we are looking for new colleagues with an insatiable curiosity in data, technology and self-development on a medior/senior level. you help to define business or technical problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. You will guide the team with your experience and make a difference every day.

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for

  • Understanding the goals and needs of the business as no other. You are able to understand the question behind the question and translate that into (data) requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify workflow requirements and translate them into solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement workflows in Collibra to automate data catalog processes.
  • Preparing technical specifications for catalog processes using workflows and integrations using APIs.
  • Understanding and contributing to the design of metamodel and governance processes within Collibra.
  • Present the product roadmap and demonstrate recently implemented features to the Data Catalog stakeholders and users.
  • Communicating workflow designs, creating user documentation and providing trainings and workshops to stakeholders.
  • Being the (wo)man in the middle between data providers and the DevOps-team you are part of. You are able to connect and communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Being point of contact in terms of knowledge of Data Catalog preferably using the Collibra SaaS platform.
  • Representing the team in the BA Area chapter.
  • Understanding incidents of the Data Governance processes, performing root-cause analysis and providing support to the Data Catalog users.
  • Having technical understanding about Azure services.

Your talents

  • Open communication, analytical skills, working together, providing feedback, a customer focused mind-set and having a structured way of working are key talents that a business analyst embodies.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data governance, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing workflows in Collibra.
  • Experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud, including workflow configuration and customization.
  • Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio).
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and processes.
  • Collibra Certified Professional or equivalent certifications are a plus.
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Experience with working in agile scrum teams.
  • Proactively participate in a multidisciplinary DevOps team where you challenge and debate the decisions of your team members on the presented solutions.
  • Transparency and courage to have in-depth conversations.
  • Continuously improving to grow as a team and individual.
  • Proactively participate in reflection moments to improve our collaboration, processes, value delivery and goals, on both product and team level.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business need and demonstrate a result-driven mindset.
  • Enthusiasm, can-do mentality and appreciation of achievements.
  • Eager to know more about banking processes, our stakeholders, and their needs.
