Your Job
Within the Software Engineering (SE) department, we are organized into Devops teams. As a Business Analyst, you will be part of one of these teams in the Generic domain, specifically in the Risk as a Service team. You will work closely with software engineers and the Product Owner, and have direct contact with business, compliance, and security professionals within the ABF organization, ABN AMRO, and external contacts.
The organization is in a transition phase, and the risk environment specifically. This creates a dynamic environment. Are you in for this challenge?
Key Responsibilities for the Business Analyst:
- Define true requirements based on interviews with business and/or IT and data stakeholders, in close cooperation with the Product Owner.
- Analyze requirements and determine their impact.
- Support Product Owner in Day to Day operations, such as backlog management, user questions and helping the team?
- Translate requirements into product configurations or development items.
- Provide training and support.
- Handle stakeholder requests related to information and support, and serve as an SME for data requests.

Your Profile
We are seeking a medior level Business Analyst who is analytical, hands-on, and communicative, with the ability to challenge and explore diverse solutions. You should be someone who questions the status quo and seeks to collaboratively solve problems. Key qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a business analyst in a similar environment;
- Experience in IT/IT development;
- Professional communication skills, both spoken and written, in English and Dutch;
- Experience in projects involving process harmonization and product rationalization;
- Knowledge and experience in the financial industry/banking sector;
- Knowledge of lease and commercial finance products and processes (related to data management) is a bonus.
