Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Business Analyst to support our model development platform. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that One!Lab continues to meet the evolving requirements of our data and analytics teams. This dynamic environment requires adaptability, as no two days will be the same. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and provide insights that drive the development and enhancement of our platform. Weekly meetings with fellow Business Analysts will help you focus and identify process improvements in an informal atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Roadmapping: Assist the Product Manager and Area lead in defining the roadmap for the product, translate that into deliverables, and support the team in reaching the goals defined.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks related to One!Lab and develop strategies to mitigate them. Continuously monitor and manage risks to minimize their impact on the project.
  • Process Improvement**:** Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Analytics platform area and propose actionable solutions. Work collaboratively with the development team to implement changes that enhance platform efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and evaluate the impact of these changes to ensure they meet business objectives and deliver value.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Understand and document business requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications for the development team. Ensure clear communication and understanding to facilitate a smooth development process. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and the area lead on project progress, issues, and resolutions. Create comprehensive documentation to support users in effectively utilizing One!Lab.
  • Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights and support decision-making processes. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide visibility into platform performance and usage. Use data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, driving continuous enhancement of the platform.

Qualifications:

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a business analyst in a complex architectural application landscape, ideally with a background in consultancy. You possess the ability to identify necessary changes and have the expertise to analyse and implement effective solutions.
  • Enthusiasm for stakeholder management: You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • A passion for data analytics and cloud platforms: you know our products and you are willing to put time and energy in increasing your craftmanship for building the model development platform of choice;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset: translating complex business requirements into technical solutions makes your day worthwhile;
  • Strong affinity with Business to IT: writing stories, hunting bugs, refinement, testing and putting releases to production is one of the key elements of your job;
  • Good time management: You are an excellent project manager, preferably with experience in a highly regulated environment;
  • Enjoy working in a complex environment where strong growth ambition, risk management, regulations, and IT challenges come together.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial industry or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
