View all our benefits.Imagine yourself in in the middle of a rapidly changing CDD environment in the Area CDD NL Risk Detection, part of the Tribe FEC Tech. Do you want to help to protect the bank and our customers worldwide from the negative effects of financial crime? As a Rule Author/ Business Analyst, together with your squad, you are responsible for implementing business rules that enable an efficient and accurate handling of all detected risks in our risk model. Our model is used for all Wwft-eligible customers in the Retail NL portfolio and provides a risk rating and, where relevant, follow-up questions to indicate the need for enhanced due diligence. You interact closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement legal and business requirements. This is all with the overall aim to digitize and innovate CDD to protect society, customers, and our bank.

You and your job

You test, elicitate, analyse and write the business rules used to give a risk classification to all our customers and that determines how they should be handled. Due to you, we are able to find people committing fraud and economic crimes. But also to give our non-risky customers a flawless process. You will work in a high-performing DevOps squad together with rule experts, rule authors and developers to create and maintain our CDD chain. In the domain of FEC TECH, you will get the opportunity to contribute and work with the newest developments in the market and thus develop your knowledge and skills to the maximum extent possible.

You and your responsibilities

• Translating requirements in business rules solutions, validating them with the team, and ensuring that the user stories can be picked up in our backlog system (Azure DevOps)
• Organizing workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs
• Creating (data) impact analysis to support decisions and solutions

You and your talent

• Completed HBO/WO;
• Minimal 5-year work experience as a business analyst with a focus on tech;
• Preferably experience with implementing rules in a business rules engine;
• SQL and/or Programming knowledge is a pre;
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Dutch and English;
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills;
• Proactive and a quick learner;
• A team player and able to mentor team members;
• It’s a dynamic and verbal environment and good communication skills are required;
• Knowledge of CDD / KYC banking processes is a plus.

* The scale for this role will be determined in accordance with your skills, knowledge and experience.
