ABN AMRO is modernizing the Lending Journey for non-retail clients. Within Corporate Banking Financing Solutions, the Credit & Collateral Lifecycle Grid is essential for the delivery of the new Collateral Management and Bank Assisted Lending capabilities through the implementation of a brand new platform. Your job
As a Business Developer, you will be part of one of our DevOps teams that are jointly responsible for the development and maintenance of an integration layer. This Azure integration layer connects our to-be implemented platform with other systems within ABN AMRO’s IT landscape. Through multiple ETL (batch) processes and more real-time (API) connections we allow data to flow from and to the new platform. Our teams thus play a crucial role in integrating the new Collateral Management and Bank Assisted Lending capabilities within the existing IT landscape.
You will be responsible for:
- Analysing business needs (i.e., clearly defining what we want to achieve)
- Stakeholder management (i.e., aligning with external parties on needs / to do’s)
- Drafting specifications (i.e., preparing documentation on features to be built)
- (Functional) verification (i.e., ensuring quality of the delivered feature)
- Setting requirements (i.e., defining minimal requirements and acceptance criteria)
- Cooperating with Development Engineers (i.e., jointly translating your specifications to a working feature)
Together with your Product Owner and Development Engineers you aim to build, test, and maintain Azure-based solutions that connect our new lending platform with ABN AMRO’s IT landscape.

Your profile
- Bachelor / Master’s degree
- You have a structured way of working
- You are able to communicate well in English (both written and verbally)
- You are able to understand and present complex issues in an easily understandable manner
- You have the ability to engage stakeholders to reach common agreement on a solution
- You are proactive, curious, and persistent
- You have a basic understanding of S(O)QL
- Understanding of Azure and Salesforce is a plus.
