Do you have the expertise to manage complex projects that drive significant impact across an organization? Are you passionate about Credit Risk and implementation, and eager to take on challenging, large-scale initiatives? If so, we invite you to join our Financial Risk Grid Value Proposition Team at ABN AMRO as a Credit Risk Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Optimize change implementations within the Financial Risk Grid by translating complex Finance and Risk (regulatory) requirements into actionable proposals.
- Lead large, complex implementation projects that impact the entire credit value chain.
- Enable various change teams to implement proposals effectively.
- Work on key Financial Risk processes and systems including:
- IRB model implementation & Rating Assignment
- Credit Risk RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets) calculation
- Economic Capital calculation
- IFRS 9 provision calculation
- Stress Testing processes and related calculators
- Distressed Client Management
- Risk Classification and assessments

Requirements
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in relevant roles, preferably within large financial institutions or consulting firms. Demonstrated success in managing complex projects is essential.
- Education: A university degree or equivalent professional experience.
Skills and knowledge:
- Credit Risk expertise including Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR), IFRS 9 Financial Instruments and/or EBA Guidelines on Loan Origination and Monitoring (LOM).
- Affinity with data and its application within Credit Risk is an advantage.
- Significant experience in complex change environments and the ability to translate strategic plans into efficient delivery.
- Strong analytical thinking and proficiency in tools like PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Project & stakeholder management: strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Organizational awareness and collaboration skills; able to work independently when required.
