NVIDIA is seeking an exceptional Chip Power Architecture Lead to help us build power efficient and performance leading SOCs. Responsibilities
- Work with chip architects to understand architecture concept and high-level system requirements.
- Identify key areas for power improvements across Architecture/Software/Hardware and develop new features, defining requirements and dependencies across various teams.
- Creating power models of key SoC units to evaluate architectural tradeoffs in DL/ML (training/inference), CPU, GPU, and multimedia workloads.
- Drive improvements to architecture development processes to improve execution capabilities.
Requirements
- Masters or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of Chip / Power Architecture experience.
- Excellent leadership capabilities to drive execution of a chip project.
- Meaningful industry expertise in SoC architecture definition – Peak or Thermal Power Management, Power Sequencing, Power Islands, Clocks, Resets, and Fabric/Interconnects Power.
- Comfortable communicating and solving issues at all levels of architecture definition from micro-architecture to system level to software architecture.
