Responsibilities
- Drive and architect GFN cloud services and frameworks that form to build GeForce NOW. These services have requirements for low latency and high availability and throughput to support millions of gamers.
- Design, build and implement scalable cloud-based systems for SaaS/PaaS.
- Work closely with other teams on new products or features/improvements of existing products.
- Support, maintain and document software functionality.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot building RESTful web services.
- Proven understanding of cloud design in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and security.
- Working with Docker and containers.
Ways to Stand Out
- Demonstrated previous usage of Kubernetes and Prometheus.
- Exposure to AWS (Fargate, EC2, IAM, ECR, EKS, Route53 etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Exposure with Redis or Memcached.
- Usage of pub/sub models and message queue systems.
- Familiarity with NoSQL DBs such as Cassandra.
Compensation
- Internship hourly rate: 20 USD - 71 USD (standard pay based on position, location, year in school, degree, and experience).
