Details

Shape the future of sustainable energy by building the data governance platform capabilities that support Eneco’s ambition to become CO₂-neutral by 2035. Work hands-on with modern technologies such as Collibra, Snowflake, Databricks and Kafka to build scalable, automated and business-critical governance infrastructure. Join a collaborative and flexible environment where ownership, continuous improvement and personal growth are central, with hybrid working and strong development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, administer and improve the Collibra platform to support ownership, access policies, lineage, glossary and data quality at scale.
  • Spend ~70% of time on configuring, automating and administering the platform and ~30% on shaping data governance across domains.
  • Translate data governance principles into platform capabilities: data products, data contracts, workflows, lineage and data quality monitoring.
  • Integrate Collibra with core platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks and Kafka.
  • Design and implement role-based access control and domain setups for business teams (B2C, B2B, Trade, Finance, etc.).
  • Design and implement custom Collibra workflows and support lifecycle management of data products.
  • Create documentation, training and guidance to drive adoption and support business teams.
  • Work closely with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to ensure data is discoverable and compliant by design.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Collibra or a similar tool: administration, asset modeling, permissions, workflows and integrations.
  • Platform-minded engineer who turns governance requirements into scalable technical implementations.
  • Familiar with concepts such as data products, data contracts, lineage and data quality monitoring.
  • Comfortable collaborating with engineering teams and business stakeholders and providing documentation and support.
  • Preference for infrastructure-as-code over manual click-ops.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, DBT and related tooling is a strong plus.
  • Experience designing access control (RBAC), domain setups and custom workflows for governance platforms.
