Details
Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company with a globally used observability stack. The Solutions Engineering team are the customer-facing product experts who enable Grafana Labs' growth by educating potential and existing customers. Solutions Engineers deliver demos, hands-on enablement, technical evaluations and presentations, partner closely with Sales to qualify and close opportunities, and act as a bridge between customers, Product, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers
- Own technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge and technical credibility
- Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and hands-on enablement to potential and existing customers
- Communicate feedback from customers to internal teams about product and the competitive landscape
- Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems
- Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other enablement material
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience
- Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership to handle various and complex assignments
- First-class written and oral communication skills to work with remote internal teams and worldwide customers
- Ability to skillfully articulate value propositions and technical advantages of products
- Passion for solving technical challenges and delivering creative solutions to customers
- Technical mindset and desire to grow technically
- Must be located in the Netherlands
Bonus Points
- Experience with Open Source technologies
- Experience in the metrics/monitoring or observability space
- Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC
Compensation & Rewards
- OTE (On-Target Earnings) in the Netherlands: 110,000 EUR - 132,000 EUR (actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset)
- Roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
