Information about the position
As our new Communications Manager, Analytics and Operations, you will be a crucial part of Vinted’s communications function, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of our inhouse teams. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Director, you’ll support across communications teams, delivering insights, reports and analysis, managing and optimizing our operations and processes, and more.
The ideal candidate ideally is a self-starter, highly organised and has a problem-solving mindset. You’re a stickler for detail, are curious to be part of a communications team, and you’re already using AI/automation to improve or implement processes, whether that’s to understand media coverage results and sentiment to improve campaign effectiveness, or to optimize and triage information flow.
In this position, you’ll
work closely with our inhouse teams across a range of organisational, technical and communications-based needs. Your exact tasks will evolve as our business continues to grow, but will likely include:
- Data and insights analysis: Collecting and analyzing data on communication efforts to measure their effectiveness. This includes tracking metrics, conducting research, alerting on emerging issues and trends, and ensuring the team has accurate, timely insights
- Measurement, reporting: Creating regular and ad hoc reports that summarize findings from data analyses, offering insights into the performance and success of communication campaigns, projects and strategies, including recommendations for improvement. Supporting the Communications and Corporate Affairs leadership teams in reporting successes and learnings to the business.
- Market Research: Conducting, assessing and synthesising research to understand latest trends, conversations and opportunities that could be leveraged in our external communications
- Benchmarking: Establishing benchmarks and setting key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of communication initiatives.
- Tool management: Utilizing, maintaining and optimising our tools and related processes, including Jira and Google Drive, as well as our media monitoring and press office tooling.
- Operations and process optimisation: helping ensure smooth and efficient team operations, by managing, improving and building tools and processes, taking advantage of latest AI, automation and other available technologies.
- Administration: ensuring vital internal and external resources are up to date, including Vinted’s newsroom and visual assets, and manage vendors including our monitoring platform + media licensing providers.
About you
- Analytical and tech-first, with a natural curiosity about emerging technologies and processes: you have proven experience collecting and analyzing data, and turning it into actionable insights and reports. You’re adept at using AI, automation, and other technologies to build, improve and streamline processes.
- Proactive, and solution-oriented; you can spot and challenges and areas for improvement, and recommend or develop solutions in response
- Excellent communication skills, including fluent spoken and written English
- Able to work independently, as well as with / across multiple stakeholder groups
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize your time and workload
- (Ideal) Experience working in a challenging, fast-paced fashion, tech or similar environment
- (Ideal) Experience or interest in PR and communications

The salary range for this position is € 2,200 - € 2,600 gross per month.
