Configuration Engineer

Working on a rapidly growing and dynamic OT landscape, which ensures the 24/7 operational maintenance of our curtailing chain for Eneco Energy Trade.

Responsibilities

• Governing system configuration in the rapidly changing energy market, including the implementation of a new SCADA package.
• Streamlining configuration workflows and processes in the increasingly converging landscapes of OT, IT, and IoT.
• Ensure the CMDB and network diagrams of our IT/OT infrastructure on the assets is maintained and updated.
• Involved in the entire asset project from design to implementation of our IT/OT infrastructure.
• Maintain and update Configuration Management procedures.
• Act as a consultant and trainer for the organization in Configuration Management topics.
• Work with our IT/OT suppliers and maintenance parties to improve working agreements (management of change).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• ITIL certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in configuration management and IT service management.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience with ISMS and knowledge of information security principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and understanding of complex IT systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
