Details

Do you like to transform data into value and collaborate with other data professionals in a multi-disciplinary team to design and deliver concrete solutions? Are you a data steward with the right knowledge and technical (credit) data management capabilities? Or do you have knowledge about credits and would like to learn more about data? Then we are looking for you!

Within Lending Transformation, part of Financing Solutions, we are redesigning the credit lifecycle to improve the different processes for our clients and employees but also to meet regulatory requirements. One of the key drivers behind this change will be a Single Customer View (SCV) which should be the starting point for every lender and contain data from all entities within ABN AMRO including daughters and our foreign subsidiaries. To create this challenging but potentially impactful data product we are expanding our team.

SCV is a data product based on regulatory (EBA (European Banking Authority) LOM (loan origination and monitoring)) requirements, which is to be used by various processes and applications in the Credit Life Cycle. Like credit origination, monitoring, and reporting, and should be used as input for various bank-wide data derivations. We are managing SCV as one of the first data products in the Cross-Domain Credit Data Product team.

Responsibilities

As Credit Data Steward you are able to make the difference in data management by using your analytic and project management skills to guarantee high data quality for lending products, credit risk management, systems and data processes. You support the Data Product Owner with a focus on Single Customer View. You are not on your own; you work together in the team of Credit Data Grid with colleague data stewards, consultants, data modellers and engineers.

  • You will work together with data providers (e.g., teams that support and maintain lending systems across ABN AMRO) and data consumers (e.g., teams that create regulatory reports and downstream applications) to advise on which data to use to fulfil their requirements.
  • You will raise and analyse issues and gaps and determine data quality requirements, which are in line with regulations or internal standards.
  • You will be taking care of the Data Product administration in the Data Marketplace regarding registration, DSA management, and use case management.
  • You will conduct data analyses, and validate data for existing, new or migrating sources of information in our data environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/master's degree in economics, finance or data.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in data management processes and data governance.
  • Familiarity with corporate lending, finance or risk.
  • Team player with humour!

Benefits

Data management is still developing. The Credit Data Domain is a key focus area for the bank, and you will play an important role. We offer the opportunity to develop yourself within a bigger organisation, with many opportunities for personal development in a flexible and supportive environment. Additionally, we offer:

  • Competitive salary, based on a 36 or 40-hour work week.
  • An additional benefit budget of 11%.
  • A personal development budget of EUR 1,000 per year.
  • An annual public transport season ticket for unlimited travel within the Netherlands.
  • A great pension scheme at the best pension fund of the Netherlands (Pensioen Pro Award 2022).
