We are very focused on understanding and building products to fulfill the diverse set of financial services needs for our customer segments including Retail & Institutional and be the primary financial account leveraging Finance 2.0 principles and crypto technology. As part of that journey, a key area of focus is the payments platform which powers all of the payments at Coinbase.

We are looking for a goal-oriented, self-motivated, Sr. Product Manager who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, comfortable with dealing with ambiguity, able to think through complex challenges & align cross-functional teams effectively to launch products. Previous experience in building customer-facing products, payments knowledge is definitely a value add for this role. Someone who has a proven track record of building & launching payment product solutions, someone who understands the workings of cards & banks including ACH & networks.

Responsibilities

• Owns a focused product area and can execute independently from conception to launch.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to drive product development.
• Understands the user journey across internal and external customers. Map user pain points and feedback into long-term strategic roadmaps.
• Effectively balance and prioritize across different user needs.
• Align teams on a shared vision and steer execution on that vision.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience.
• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
• 1 year of experience taking products from conception to launch.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with SQL, experiment design, and being data-driven.
• Aptitude for learning and ability to ramp quickly on new and potentially complicated domains.
• Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission.

Nice to Haves:

• Previous project or work experience in crypto-native projects (i.e. NFTs, DeFi, DAOs, RWAs, etc.).
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.

Pay Range: $144,500 — $170,000 USD
