As a Cyber Security Specialist at Nord Security, you will be a key contributor in safeguarding both enterprise and cloud environments. Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and implement technologies aimed at strengthening the overall security posture of the company.
  • Design enterprise-level security architectures aligned with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain secure cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Define and enforce security policies, ensuring these are integrated into business processes across various teams.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to relevant frameworks and regulations.
  • Contribute to and maintain security-related documentation, including policies, technical guidelines, and best practices.
  • Oversee the management of security risks and vulnerabilities within both cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks using recognized standards and methodologies.
  • Propose and implement risk mitigation strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Act as a security expert in cross-functional initiatives, providing technical requirements and recommendations for secure development.
  • Drive or support security-specific projects, ensuring timely delivery and consistent documentation of outcomes.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and encourage a shift-left approach.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, security tools, and industry trends, adapting practices to maintain a proactive security posture.
  • Work with stakeholders to promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with exposure to both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices (ISO/IEC, NIST, ENISA, OWASP, CSA).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing security architectures within complex environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud security services and technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Broad awareness of security products and a track record of successfully managing security projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
