Role overview
We are looking for an L2 IT Technician with project management experience to support and maintain large-scale GPU clusters in a data center environment. The role focuses on troubleshooting high-performance server hardware (including GPU clusters), providing L1/L2 support via the ticketing system, and participating in implementation of infrastructure components on production sites. You will collaborate with the Technical Project Manager and oversee 3rd party contractors during project implementations.
Responsibilities
- Solve hardware-related issues with servers using in-depth advanced troubleshooting
- Report to hardware problem management; execute workarounds and solutions
- Proactively handle L1/L2 tasks through the ticketing system
- Update processes and documentation for the IT hardware team
- Collaborate with the Technical Project Manager on current projects
- Participate in technical project implementations
- Oversee 3rd party contractor activities during project implementations
- Perform basic network tasks, troubleshooting and support
Requirements
- Knowledge of datacenters and server equipment
- Advanced knowledge of IT hardware and practical experience in troubleshooting
- Advanced skills working with Unix/Linux operating systems and command line
- Experience with equipment monitoring, data analysis and presentation
- Basic understanding of Project Management methodologies
- Basic understanding of Project Management tools (JIRA, Gantt charts)
- Proactiveness and sense of responsibility
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
Nice to have
- Advanced knowledge of network equipment and troubleshooting
- Proven project management experience in the IT infrastructure domain
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science
- Driving license
Compensation
Compensation Range: $62,400 — $93,600 USD
