Information about the position
We’re looking for a Data Engineer to help evolve and scale a Data Platform in Vinted. As part of the Data Platform Experience team, you’ll work with us on Data Platform components, such as Airflow, dbt, Looker, JupyterHub and related tooling. With challenges of scale, PB of data, thousands of models and thousands of jobs where seconds matter. In this position, you’ll
- Build, automate and improve tooling around our Data Platform Experience team’s scope.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure with code
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to the platform
- Work within platform team & work closely with users to deploy, automate and scale applications
- Improve the reliability and cost effectiveness of the platform
About you
- Experience in software development
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Proven experience of building software products
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Preferably with Terraform)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good written and spoken technical communication skills
- Preferred experience with CI/CD (Jenkins | GHA), Airflow
