Responsibilities
As a Medior or Senior Business Developer in the Requirements Interface and Oversight team, you will:
- Analyse diverse information channels to understand the interface between business needs for data, regulatory aspects, and technical capabilities.
- Harmonize regulatory, policy and business data requirements from various usages across consumers and domains, to produce a comprehensive requirements repository for insights discovery, analysis, and decision-making.
- Analyse and identify synergies and proactively resolve inconsistencies in business and regulatory data needs.
- Perform information flow impact assessments and understand the impact on consumers (e.g. reports) to gather quality and completeness insights and create reliable data delivery planning.
- Perform regulatory, policy and business data requirement verification and validation assessments on behalf of the domain.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including but not limited to data domains, data product teams, business model team, policy teams, and business functions.
- Champion innovation to enhance governance, minimise rework and compliance risk, drive simplification and optimise planning within our data domain.
- Make an impact by being part of a pioneering team shaping the future of finance and risk requirements management and data-driven steering.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in the banking industry.
- Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices (e.g. DAMA) and the requirements from the regulator (e.g. BCBS239). Knowledge of metadata management and ETL processes (e.g. DMBOK, BABOK certifications).
- Understanding of regulatory and external reporting and risk modelling practices.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
