Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. The Creative Studio is Anthropic’s in-house creative team responsible for the brand expression across Anthropic and Claude. The team focuses on craft, making things by hand and using AI when it makes sense.
Role summary
You will join the Brand Web team working at the intersection of design and development to build and maintain Anthropic's web properties (anthropic.com and claude.com). The role focuses on shipping high-quality, interactive web experiences — from marketing pages and data visualizations to internal tooling that supports content operations. Rapid prototyping and close collaboration with designers, engineers, and content teams are core to the role.
Responsibilities
- Own implementation of design system components and page templates across web properties, focusing on interactive pages, data visualizations, and tools that communicate complex information clearly
- Work within a headless CMS architecture; help maintain and improve content modeling, structured data workflows, and the publishing experience
- Collaborate closely with designers to translate static designs into living, interactive web experiences
- Contribute to internal tools that help teams author, manage, and publish content at scale
- Participate in migrations and site architecture projects, taking on defined scopes within larger efforts led by senior team members
- Move quickly from concept to working prototype and iterate in close collaboration with the team
- Support tooling and workflow improvements and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing
Requirements / Qualifications
- Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly Next.js or similar React-based tooling
- Strong understanding of CSS sufficient to implement complex layouts, animations, and interactive experiences with precision
- Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms and familiarity with content modeling, structured data workflows, and publishing operations for large sites
- Experience contributing to internal tools or workflows that improve how teams work day-to-day
- Ability to prototype quickly and iterate from idea to working proof-of-concept
- Clear communicator who can work with both designers and engineers and deliver technically sound, visually refined work
- Track record of contributing to production web properties at a mid-level scope and motivation to grow into owning larger projects
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows
- Interest in generative or programmatic design
- Familiarity with localization / internationalization systems
Compensation
Annual Salary: $305,000 - $385,000 USD
Logistics
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, staff are expected to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more time in office
- Visa sponsorship: Anthropic states they do sponsor visas and retain an immigration lawyer to assist when an offer is made
