Responsibilities
- Work on state-of-the-art technologies, building applications with the latest Angular versions in combination with NgRx state management. Serverside using NodeJS or headless Sitecore CMS hosted on AWS.
- Take ownership and feel responsible for applications serving over 2 million energy customers that buy electricity and gas products, as well as Energy+ products and services such as Solar Panels, Heating, Isolation, and Energy advice.
- Keep applications up-to-date and continuously improve the system with a strong focus on automation in the Gitlab CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in an Agile DevOps team following the SAFe way of working. Develop the integration layer in our IT landscape using Typescript on serverless technologies, enabling full-stack development within the team.
We are currently focusing on features for two applications:
- Sitecore: a new digital platform providing all customers with a digital "my" environment, used by about 17,000 customers daily.
- Cockpit: application for call center agents and back office employees, utilized by 400 colleagues daily to provide the best service to our customers.
You embrace the DevOps mentality by giving and taking ownership, striving for constant improvement. You have a “you-built-it-you-own-it” mindset and seek to streamline development life cycles. You are agile in adapting to constant business changes, including new requirements and emerging technologies.

- Non-Dutch citizens are welcome to apply; knowledge of Dutch is desirable, and an EU work permit is required.

- Strong proficiency in software development, especially in JavaScript, with good practice in modern frameworks like React, Vue, or preferably Angular, and the ability to write semantic and accessible HTML.
