You work at the heart of risk management within the bank. In this role you analyse credit risks, turn complex data into clear insights, and help strengthen the bank’s resilience. You play a key role in stress testing and financial forecasting that directly influence strategic decisions. Your work contributes to sustainable growth and responsible banking.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse credit risks and translate data into clear insights for decision-making
  • Work on provisions, forecasts and stress tests
  • Assess how portfolios respond to economic scenarios
  • Coordinate the bank-wide impairment process
  • Develop and monitor impairment budgets and forecasts
  • Perform stress testing and scenario analysis
  • Contribute to ICAAP and EBA stress test exercises
  • Explore improvements in credit provisions and data analysis
  • Collaborate with different teams and turn regulatory requirements into practical analyses

Working environment

You join the Credit Risk Analytics & Reporting team, part of Credit Risk Management. This department acts as the bank’s centre of expertise for credit risk. You work within the Credit Provisions & Stress Testing sub-team and collaborate with analytical colleagues focused on data, modelling and reporting. The team culture is open, collaborative and knowledge-driven. You have space to take initiative and broaden your scope, for example in regulation or advanced analytics.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in credit risk, provisioning, stress testing or forecasting
  • Experience within a financial institution, preferably including ICAAP (EBA ST is a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience handling complex datasets
  • Experience with data platforms and IT systems for risk analysis
  • Knowledge of BCBS239 and relevant regulations (CRR / Basel II-IV, ECB/EBA guidelines)
  • Experience with macroeconomic scenario analysis
  • Fluent English (Dutch is a plus)
