Join NVIDIA's global Developer Technology (DevTech) team focused on AI Developer Technology. This role leads a team accelerating deep learning and machine learning application performance and developing novel algorithms to leverage NVIDIA hardware including GPU, CPU, and interconnects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team optimizing and developing algorithms for machine learning and deep learning applications
- Define and drive technical initiatives for accelerated deep learning and machine learning
- Collaborate with research, hardware, and software teams to influence next-gen hardware and software design
- Communicate technical solutions and project plans internally and externally
- Hire and grow a diverse, skilled engineering team
- Promote a culture of engineering excellence
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related computational science/engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years technical and 3+ years engineering leadership
- Expertise in linear algebra and performance optimization of deep learning training and inference
- Background in parallel programming (CUDA, OpenMP, MPI, pthreads, etc.)
- Programming fluency in C/C++ with strong algorithms and software development skills
- Knowledge of CPU/GPU architecture and low-level performance optimizations
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Proven leadership in planning and driving critical initiatives
Preferred
- PhD in a relevant field
- Expertise in Large Language Models, multimodal architectures, and performance optimization of computational primitives
- Proven experience recruiting top talent

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is $224,000 to $356,500 USD, based on location and experience. Eligibility for equity and benefits applies. NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.
