Your job

As an Engineering Manager IT for (Open)RPG, you are the point of contact for your team members in the Core Clearing Services block, taking care of their HR management and personal development (30%). At the same time, you spend most of your time enabling and contributing in (70%) programming in (Open)RPG to further develop our core clearing system. As this is at the heart of our firm, it is one of the most important systems. The block is in the midst of a modernization transformation to become fit for the future!

Job Profile

We are looking for a manager that has the following profile:

• Experience in coaching development teams in a professional context (of at least 4 people)
• Experience in using (REST) APIs; Icebreak is a big pre
• Experience in programming Synon is a big advantage
• Experience with NodeJS/Angular is nice to have
• Fluency in English (Dutch is not a requirement).

Nice to have experience in:

• 5+ years of experience in IBM RPG (Full Free)
• REST API design
• Containerization (Kubernetes or experience with a similar technology)
• CICD (git, automated pipelines)

And interest in:

• Working in an international team
• Learning about financial markets and derivatives

We are offering

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
