Responsibilities

  • Work with sales partner(s) to develop territory and account strategies and campaigns.
  • Understand customer requirements as they relate to security architectures across data center, cloud, and enterprise environments.
  • Track and document aspects of the sales cycle including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer.
  • Lead proof-of-concept and value engagements.
  • Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to customers how products and services work.
  • Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
  • Recommend new and improved products to customers and explain cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide 1st-level technical support throughout the sales cycle and initially support customers through implementation (role will evolve to predominantly pre-sales).
  • Act as an active participant within the greater technical team sharing experience and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in cybersecurity, preferably endpoint cyber defense.
  • Expertise in the endpoint space focused on prevention, EDR, and threat hunting.
  • Achieve mastery of all SentinelOne technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience speaking to both small and large audiences; strong written and oral communication skills for business and technical presentations.
  • Demonstrable experience successfully selling to mid- to large customers.
  • Basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, notable malware, and anti-malware solutions and techniques.
  • Team-focused approach and positive attitude.
  • Travel up to 50% possible.
  • Experience in computer forensics, security architecture, penetration/red teaming, or incident response is a plus.

Compensation & Location

  • This U.S. role has On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $196,000—$250,000 USD (base pay plus commissions; the range may vary by location and will be provided during recruiting).
