Details

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole.

This role sits in the go-to-market organization and is responsible for building and owning the reporting foundation used by GTM leaders across the company. The focus is designing and delivering certified, centralized reporting across pipeline, forecast, hiring, customer health, and rep productivity — and translating leadership needs into durable, adoptable reporting that scales as the business grows.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and certify the core reporting suite that serves as the single source of truth for GTM performance (pipeline, forecast, bookings, capacity, customer health, rep productivity).
  • Architect reporting with a clear audience hierarchy so the same data powers board prep, RVP operating reviews, and individual rep self-service views.
  • Partner with Analytics Engineering and Data Infrastructure to ensure clean data lineage, governed metric definitions, and reconciled calculations across Salesforce, Looker, and BigQuery.
  • Establish and own the standard for “certified” reporting so numbers in operating reviews are traceable.
  • Serve as a trusted analytical partner to GTM leadership: convert ambiguous executive asks into well-scoped deliverables and anticipate second-order usage of reports.
  • Drive adoption through enablement and documentation; build templates, playbooks, and reporting infrastructure that scale from tens to hundreds of sellers.
  • Design the visual language for new concepts (e.g., consumption ramp, PLG-to-enterprise conversion) and develop original scoring/prioritization methodologies (account propensity, deal health, whitespace, risk).
  • Leverage Claude to extract signal from unstructured data (call transcripts, deal notes, customer feedback) and turn it into structured reporting inputs.
  • Act as an internal R&D function for analytical methods: run experiments, share learnings, and raise standards for GTM reporting.

Requirements

  • Advanced SQL and hands-on experience building in Looker and LookML (not just consuming dashboards).
  • Fluency with Salesforce data models and comfort working in BigQuery or a comparable data warehouse.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous executive asks into well-scoped, structured deliverables.
  • Strong data visualization sensibility and a preference for simpler, clearer reports.
  • Experience building GTM or revenue reporting from the ground up in a high-growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years in revenue operations, sales strategy, GTM analytics, or a similar function, with a track record of building reporting leaders use to run their business.
  • Deep fluency in GTM operations: forecast cadence, sales rhythms, and rep prioritization.
  • Experience with consumption-based, usage-based, or PLG revenue models where the traditional pipeline-to-bookings funnel must be rethought.
  • Background in management consulting, sales strategy, or FP&A with subsequent operating experience.
  • Experience standing up data governance or metric certification programs.
  • A track record of using AI tools to accelerate analytical workflows and a perspective on where that's headed.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $190,000 - $270,000 USD

Logistics

  • Locations: San Francisco, CA and New York City, NY (United States).
  • Location-based hybrid policy: expect staff to be in an office at least 25% of the time.
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Visa sponsorship: Anthropic states they sponsor visas and retain immigration counsel to help when offers are made.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space for collaboration.

Additional notes

  • The team values collaboration, communication skills, and impact. The role expects close partnership across Analytics Engineering and Data Infrastructure and strong product sense for GTM reporting.
