GitLab is hiring an IT Enterprise Applications Engineer specializing in NetSuite and Claude tools to join the Enterprise Applications G&A team. The team owns implementation and operational support for enterprise business applications that enable core business processes (Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report). This role focuses on developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining NetSuite solutions and automations, and designing and deploying code using Claude tools where applicable. The position reports to the Senior Manager, G&A Systems and partners closely with cross-functional business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business workflows using NetSuite SuiteCloud development tools: SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteScript.
  • Build and maintain integrations using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and NetSuite SOAP APIs; act as a system, field, and mapping expert for the RPA and iPaaS team.
  • Maintain metadata, records, objects, roles, and fields to ensure proper data flows between systems.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to influence and deliver cross-functional solutions and improvements.
  • Drive technical delivery and end-to-end implementation with minimal guidance.
  • Run medium-sized projects to improve data-driven insights and operational efficiency.
  • Operate as an expert in how Claude tools (Claude cowork, Claude code, MCP) interact with NetSuite, GitLab issues, other data sources, and VSCode, including designing and deploying code generated by Claude.

Requirements

  • Full understanding of the NetSuite stack and experience across NetSuite modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, SuiteBilling, Procurement, etc.).
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, CSV imports, user provisioning, role definition, analytics, and scheduling scripts.
  • Expertise in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Services, and Eclipse.
  • Familiarity with JSON, SQL, APIs, and GitLab products; understanding of SDLC and DAP (Duo Agentic Platform).
  • Required knowledge of Claude tools (Claude cowork, Claude code & MCP) and how to design/deploy code from Claude and integrate intake from various data sources and GitLab issues.
  • Strong data analytics, reporting, and database experience (SQL, NetSuite reporting, ODBC, and other reporting tools).
  • Understanding of project management best practices and documentation for intake, design, deployment, and hypercare of cross-functional customizations and projects.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills; customer-centric mentality.
  • Strong security and confidentiality practices when handling sensitive data.
  • NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with SaaS tools such as Zip, Coupa, Navan, and Zuora is a plus.

About the team

The Enterprise Applications team supports GitLab’s critical business applications including Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, Navan, Zip, and others. The team enables scale by introducing new system capabilities while maintaining production environments for scalability and compliance.

Compensation

  • United States base salary range for this role: $81,200 - $174,000 USD. The range reflects base salary for residents of the United States and does not include bonuses, equity, or benefits.
