Information about the position

We’re looking for a Software Engineer with expertise in the Go programming language to join our Site Reliability team and help evolve and scale a Kubernetes infrastructure consisting of approximately 2000 physical servers across 6 data centers and multiple regions. Proficiency in Go is crucial as it is integral to developing custom solutions and automation for our large on-premise Kubernetes infrastructure. Managing such an expansive system presents challenges and requires innovative, automated solutions. This role within our Site Reliability team presents great opportunities to grow as a professional and take on new responsibilities. In this position, you’ll

• Build, maintain, improve, and scale our Kubernetes platform, which supports over 40K running pods.
• Write code to automate manual processes
• Assist Vinted engineers in developing performance, secure, and scalable applications
• Identify opportunities for improvement in our infrastructure and build solutions to implement them
• Monitor and debug problems in production to meet established SLO's
• Collaborate with the team on other infrastructure projects
• Participate in an on-call rotation within the team every ~6th week.

About you

• Programming experience with the Go language
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking
• A curious and responsible individual who wants to learn and master concepts and technologies we use
• Interested in automating infrastructure using Temporal and creating non-standard, reliable, and scalable solutions on our on-premises infrastructure

The salary range for this position is €3,558 - €4,808 gross per month.
