Responsibilities

  • In this position, you will be working with other world-class architects on analysis, validation, and tuning of graphics architectures and features that advance the state of art in performance and efficiency.
  • Developing and enhancing innovative tools for architectural performance analysis.
  • Performance analysis of graphics hardware features and APIs, leading to recommendations for future architectures.
  • Deriving algorithms for tuning of games on existing hardware, possible prototyping of implementations.

Requirements

  • Pursuing your MS or PHD in EE/CS/EECS or related technical field. Ideally passionate about Computer Architecture and Graphics.
  • Completed courses in Computer Architecture and Computer Graphics is preferred.
  • Meaningful experience in chip performance modelling, real-time 3D rendering or ray tracing, and knowledge of DirectX or OpenGL preferred.
  • Strong programming ability in C and C++. Python scripting.
  • Proven background in mathematics, algorithms and data structures required, additional background in Compute Graphics preferred.
  • A great teammate; ambitious with a positive attitude.

The hourly rate for our interns is 18 USD - 71 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience. You will also be eligible for Intern benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
