The community you will join
The Engagement Growth Marketing team sits at the intersection of marketing, product, engineering, and data science, shaping the guest journey and driving meaningful top-line impact. As the Growth Marketing Lead, Engagement (Guest), you’ll help engage and convert guests exploring their next trip on Airbnb. You’ll join a high-performing team focused on building deeply personalized lifecycle experiences powered by insights, data, and real-time guest signals.
The difference you will make
You will define and execute the lifecycle strategy that turns guest interest into bookings. You’ll lead personalized email and push programs that help guests discover new pilot programs that Airbnb is testing into. You’ll partner with Creative, MarTech, MarOps, Analytics, Data Science, Product, and PgM to build a roadmap grounded in guest insights, experimentation, dynamic content, and ML/AI-based decisioning.
You’ll bring strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and technical depth to turn insights into action. You’ll set clear priorities, align cross-functional partners, and ensure high-quality execution—while acting as a culture carrier who fosters a positive, collaborative, growth-minded team environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and lifecycle marketing execution across email and push, with a primary focus on new Airbnb pilots.
- Partner with global business teams to translate new pilots and promotional moments into effective customer journeys and campaigns.
- Leverage segmentation, behavioral triggers and personalization to improve campaign performance and customer engagement.
- Partner with Analytics and Data Science on segmentation approach, campaign performance, evaluate incrementality, and translate findings into leadership-ready recommendations.
- Collaborate with Creative, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences across channels.
- Leverage AI-driven insights, automation, and personalization capabilities to improve customer relevance and campaign performance.
- Manage a structured experimentation roadmap across messaging, audiences, timing, and channel mix.
- Develop clear briefs articulating campaign goals and technical, data, creative, and audience requirements.
- Stay organized in a fast-moving environment and work autonomously to move work forward.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2C CRM / lifecycle experience in fast-paced consumer or e-commerce environments.
- Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, customer journey design, segmentation, personalization, and behavioral marketing.
- Exceptional prioritization and project management skills; able to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality execution.
- Experience in experimentation, performance measurement, and campaign optimization; ability to translate analysis into recommendations.
- Experience partnering effectively across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Creative, and Marketing teams.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation systems, and AI-enabled personalization capabilities.
- Strong ability to influence cross-functional roadmaps and present strategy and results to senior leadership.
- Ability to balance growth objectives with customer experience and brand considerations.
Your Location
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager. You must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states are excluded; check the careers site for the up-to-date list).

How We'll Take Care of You
The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors (training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands). This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

$160,000—$200,000 USD
