Details
Bloomberg is a global leader in business and financial information, news, and insight. The Portfolio Buy-Side Implementation team is responsible for onboarding new and existing clients to PORT Enterprise, Bloomberg’s portfolio and risk management solution. Team members handle pre-sales engagement, data ingestion setup, workflow configuration, analytics reconciliation, project planning, stakeholder engagement, and client training. Implementations require understanding multi-asset class portfolios, data flows, and hands-on project management.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end client onboarding for PORT Enterprise across the Americas.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to understand client workflows and configure solutions.
- Manage implementation timelines, deliver client training, and support data validation and analytics reconciliation.
- Configure data ingestion and workflow setup for multi-asset portfolios.
- Perform analytics reconciliation and ensure successful implementation outcomes.
- Engage with stakeholders regularly and provide technical problem-solving during implementations. Travel may be required to support client engagements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience at a buy-side financial institution or in financial engineering/structuring.
- Strong understanding of portfolio management, risk, and attribution workflows.
- Deep knowledge of portfolio analytics across fixed income, equities, and derivatives.
- Experience working with Engineering teams on technical and data-related challenges.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience delivering client-facing training and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to different audiences.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; CFA is a plus.
- Technical skills such as Python, APIs, and SFTP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and workflows.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: 120,000 - 175,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus.
