We're hiring! Within the Strategy & Innovation department of ABN AMRO, we explore and build the future of banking. Do you get excited from corporate innovation? Do you want to use your expertise to help our innovation teams create, validate, and grow new business concepts? We are looking for a Growth Innovation Consultant (m,f,x) who's keen to make a sustainable contribution to the future of ABN AMRO.

Your job

With your human-centric view and data-driven approach, you know how to develop new business concepts and accelerate the work of innovation teams on the journey to a viable, feasible new product or service that can land back in the larger organization. As such, you have hands-on experience in bringing a new product to market and know how to build a winning growth strategy.

At the same time, you are capable of convincing innovation teams of the importance of human-centric design, a data-driven approach and can encourage, facilitate and coach them to apply it in a practical way. Ideally, you know your way around experimentation and data-driven lean decision making, as you support teams to create a scalable product. You support innovation teams to take the right steps, set up and facilitate workshops to identify new opportunities and translate customer and market insights to the business model, and iteratively help develop and scale new concepts. You can translate the value proposition into a (financial) model or business case.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, facilitating, and leading workshops (e.g. ideation, financial modelling or synthesis) with bank wide colleagues and (external) experts;
• Guiding innovation teams in growing new business concepts using human-centric design, with concrete support on their go-to-market, sales, and growth strategy;
• Analyzing and interpreting research and client data, translating them into meaningful insights for the proposition's business model;
• Supporting innovation initiatives in converting their proposition into a trackable (financial) model, identifying revenue and cost drivers;
• Initiating and leading projects of varying magnitude with different teams and departments within ABN AMRO, and our clients and partners;
• Building our innovation method and helping to continuously develop it further across all stages.

Working environment

You will work in the Innovation Process & Design team that empowers innovation teams to generate and execute new business ideas. Innovation Process & Design is part of the department Strategy & Innovation that reports to the CEO. Strategy & Innovation plays a central role in defining and executing ABN AMRO's strategy and related innovation agenda. The department consists of functional units in Strategy and Innovation.

Requirements

• You have solid experience with bringing a new product or service to market; You know how to grow new business concepts from prototype to scale;
• You have a creative approach to problem-solving and are comfortable taking the lead in guiding colleagues and partners along the innovation journey;
• You identify opportunities and pro-actively set up projects, engage teams and track progress;
• You have experience with, and deep knowledge of human-centered Design and/or Lean-Startup; You can apply them immediately and inspire teams to follow along;
• You have a curious and analytical mindset, looking for facts and creative ways to gather client- and market data to gain new insights and know how to translate them into your financial models;
• You have an affinity with the financial sector and are interested in the future of banking.

Benefits

• The gross monthly salary (min Eur. 5.112 - max. Eur. 7.303) displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. 40-hour work week is also possible.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
