Are you enthusiastic about Web development and looking for a place to further develop your knowledge? We offer the opportunity to gain experience and further develop yourself as a Web developer within the ICS IT Digital Channels domain.

We are looking for an intern with a technical background and a "can-do" mentality who is eager to further grow as an Engineer and join our IT Channels Domain. Our domain is closely linked to Digital Channels & Core Payments, together we are responsible for creating the smoothest credit card experience for our commercial and private clients.

Your job

As an IT Engineer intern, you are able to develop, configure, and manage software applications in ways that allows you to grow in this field. You are part of a team that has end-to-end responsibility, on behalf of the business and clients, for developing, managing, and maintaining the App, which are prioritized.

You will be working on projects for enhancing ICS portal. As a Web developer you will be part of the value chain that builds, tests and maintains the solutions.

Your work area includes:

• Developing the portal that is scalable and highly performant.
• Work and maintain applications in a DevOps team with autonomy and participate actively in team decisions.
• Work on the training and learnings path created as part of the chosen development plan.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Active participation in the relevant communities.

Your working environment

IT Channels is responsible for ICS’s Frontend applications (Web & App) as well as the APIs that enable these to work. We serve clients.

We develop and maintain a variety of applications using many different technologies and innovative (IT) concepts! We have embraced DevOps way of working where we strive towards self-organizing teams which have the autonomy to make quick decisions. Our teams work according to the Scrum and SaFE principles. You are expected to participate in all Scrum and SaFE events & activities (such as daily scrum, sprint planning meetings, and QPE event). You work with your team to determine how you can ensure qualities (knowledge and skills) area and remain sufficiently present within the team.

The atmosphere within the team and the department is open and informal. You will work in a diverse team with many different nationalities, and a good gender diversity and junior-senior ratio. We work hard, but there is certainly room for fun!
