Details

As an intern, you will contribute to improving the security of our digital customer journeys, with a focus on the login process and related authentication mechanisms. You will work alongside engineers and security specialists to explore, design, and prototype enhancements to existing solutions. Your assignment will involve analysing current flows, identifying opportunities to strengthen security measures, and validating potential improvements. Work will be performed in a highly controlled and professional environment and certain details will only be shared during the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and evaluation of authentication and consent-related solutions
  • Analyze user flows and identify areas for improvement in security and usability
  • Contribute to the implementation and testing of security measures in a controlled setup
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and security specialists
  • Document findings and present recommendations to the team

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Mandatory to be enrolled at a Dutch university (or EU university for EU passport holders) during the internship
  • Interest in security, authentication, or digital identity
  • At least basic experience with software development (e.g. Java, Kotlin, or similar)
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion
