Are you a last year Bachelor or a Master student with an affinity for data, programming and finance? Do you want to find the best place to test & improve your skills and acquire work experience within a corporate environment? ABN AMRO Clearing Bank offers the possibility to work with experienced professionals in Control & Fee Analytics Europe (CFA).
Responsibilities
- Automate and centralize the retrieval of fee invoices to ensure correctness of costs.
- Further develop an existing program to automatically process fee invoices.
- Make proposals for modifications of processes in line with internal guidelines.
- Help streamline, centralize, and automate the invoice processing into the booking system to ensure correct reporting, accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial records.
Working environment
The CFA department is responsible for reporting, controlling and analyzing Clearing Europe’s financial income and expenses, including processing fee invoices into the booking system. The team expects candidates who can grow with the organisation; tasks will evolve over time. A significant part of the work involves interacting with people of diverse backgrounds and different positions within the organisation.

Requirements / Your profile
- Last year Bachelor or Master student (WO or HBO) in Data Science or a related field.
- Programming experience in Python (required) and preferably VBA.
- Enrolled at a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship.
- Affinity with finance, control or reporting, custody and clearing.
- Availability to start in July / August and available for at least 6 months.
