Responsibilities

As our IT Architect at Tikkie, you will play a hybrid role involving multiple disciplines of architecture. Your primary focus will be on evaluating the balance between building our own solutions and integrating off-the-shelf solutions. You will contribute to our technology's ongoing innovation while maintaining simplicity, and work towards improving our Software Development Lifecycle and DevOps in terms of automation and maturity. You will help define the future-state architecture, manage stakeholder relationships with our shareholder, and contribute to our API-first framework. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with the automation of our KPIs and running Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to enhance the security of our solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a Cloud Architect/Solution Architect or similar role in FinTech
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
• A base knowledge of IT-security best-practices
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal in English) to properly articulate complicated problems and initiatives to management and other IT development partners
• A positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
• Solid experience with AWS offerings, especially serverless
• Experience with Domain Driven Design
• Experience with designing and integrating APIs (networking/VPC, API Gateways, etc.)
• It is a plus if you have experience in a fintech start-up or scale-up.
