Your Job

Join Tikkie as a Platform Engineer and become a vital part of our cloud platform team. This team is responsible for providing a ready-to-use landing zone for all our application teams. You will ensure that the platform is setup for immediate deployment of application infrastructure and applications, allowing teams to work efficiently without delays.

Your role involves key tasks such as designing, implementing and managing the network topology, identity & access management, guardrails, compliance framework, security monitoring and integrations with service management processes. The AWS environment you create must adhere to all ABN AMRO policies and standards while allowing our developers to remain innovative with fast time to market and reach their goals successfully.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing AWS network topology and controls
• Designing and implementing AWS security measures to stay in control of the AWS platform while providing developers the capability to remain innovative
• Implement continuous compliance checks to ensure all AWS resources follow regulation and internal policies
• Design and implement service management integrations and processes
• Use CI/CD pipelines to deploy Infrastructure-as-Code templates for AWS infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders, including application developers and security teams.
• Rotate in weekend pickets so every 7 weekends you will be on-call.

Requirements

• A security mindset in combination with a pragmatic approach so that we can remain innovative while being compliant and secure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS and solid understanding of network topology and cloud security concepts.
• Eager to stay up to date with latest public cloud technologies and brainstorm about how these can be leveraged in our context.
• It is a plus if you have experience with platform AWS services as VPC, Network Firewall, IAM, GuardDuty, Inspector, CloudWatch, Organizations and AWS Config.
• Preferably knowledge and experience with AWS serverless technologies as API Gateway, Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Bonus points if you already have Python experience, otherwise experience in other programming languages also helps.
• It is a plus if you have experience in building a public cloud platform in a highly regulated environment.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, able to identify problems and contribute to solutions.
• The last bonus points are for proficient knowledge on Linux.
