As an ICS Security Officer, you are in the middle of the action. You are monitoring our IT systems, responding to any attacks on the organization and always looking for possible vulnerabilities and improvements. You are working on the preventative, detective, and remediation sides of security. This challenging and rewarding role requires both technical knowledge of IT security and the capability to maintain or create overviews.
Responsibilities
- Investigating and managing security incidents reported by our monitoring systems, vendors or employees.
- Finding improvements to our security landscape and work with the other teams to implement them.
- Performing change reviews and periodic reviews of security solutions such as Firewall & Endpoint detection rules, AD / CMDB and Endpoint compliance.
- Being a champion (primary expert) of at least one security tool, such as Endpoint Detection, Proxy, Firewall, DLP or SIEM solution.
- Improving and maintaining our processes, procedures and other landscape related documentation.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve our security landscape.
Requirements
Must have requirements
- At least 5 years' operational experience in an IT security officer role or equivalent with at least 2 of the following activities:
- Investigating and managing security incidents reported by our monitoring systems, vendors, or employees.
- Finding improvements to our security landscape and work with the other teams to implement them.
- Performing change reviews and periodic reviews of security solutions such as Firewall & Endpoint detection rules, AD / CMDB and Endpoint compliance.
- Being a champion (primary expert) of at least one security tool, such as Endpoint Detection, Proxy, Firewall, DLP or SIEM solution.
- Fluency in English.

Nice to have requirements
- Knowledgeable on NIST, PCI-DSS, CIS, GDPR, DORA, and other security & privacy related frameworks.
- A good understanding of Dutch.
- Bachelor degree in IT security or equivalent.

- The gross monthly salary is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget ranging from € 5.112 to € 7.303 monthly.
