Role overview
We are building a brand-new team in ING Hubs Poland to support the Global Procurement team and are looking for an experienced IT Sourcing Specialist to work globally while staying connected locally. In this role you will support the Global Tech Procurement Category Team by defining business needs, analysing the market, running sourcing processes, managing suppliers, and negotiating contracts. You will help deliver sourcing projects, manage contracts, and support cost improvement goals. The position is full time and located in Katowice (Zabrska 19).
Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to understand needs, define sourcing plans, and ensure activities follow procurement policies and standards.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects for IT services, including market research, supplier selection, RFI/RFP processes, commercial evaluation, negotiation, and contract handover.
- Manage contracts for IT services, including renewals, changes, performance obligations, and exit planning.
- Support risk and compliance activities together with business, legal, risk, and security teams for IT services engagements.
- Monitor supplier performance, track key commitments, and support improvement actions and governance reviews.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of category management strategies for IT services, aligned with business needs and procurement objectives.
- Contribute to cost savings, supplier improvements, ESG goals, and procurement best practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in supply chain, engineering, business administration, finance, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in IT procurement, especially in sourcing IT services, ideally in an international company.
- Experience leading sourcing projects for IT services such as application development, infrastructure, workplace services, and consulting.
- Strong negotiation skills based on data and facts.
- Experience with global contracts for IT services, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements in cooperation with legal, risk, security, and business teams.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
- Proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable in an international environment.
- Comfortable working in a changing environment and dealing with complexity.
- Strong organizational and communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Very good English skills (spoken and written) (B2/C1).
- Strong analytical skills and comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, e-sourcing tools, and procurement systems to build business cases and support sourcing decisions.
Nice to have / Extra points
- Certifications like CIPS or Nevi.
- Knowledge of third-party risk, outsourcing, and regulations relevant to financial services such as DORA, EBA, GDPR, and information security requirements.
- Experience managing complex global sourcing projects for IT services in a large international organization.
