Details
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. The Enterprise SaaS team owns the collaboration and productivity platforms every person at Anthropic touches every day — Google Workspace, Slack, and the surrounding ecosystem of enterprise tools. This role focuses on tenant-wide architecture, API-level integration, and governance to keep these platforms secure and scalable as the company grows. You will write Python against SaaS APIs, design data governance and compartmentalization models, configure the application side of SSO and SCIM, and act as the final escalation tier for platform issues.
Responsibilities
- Own tenant-wide architecture for Google Workspace, Slack, and core collaboration platforms
- Design compartmentalization and data-governance models that scale with the company
- Build integrations and automation against SaaS APIs to automate provisioning and catch drift
- Configure the application side of SSO connections and SCIM attribute mappings
- Serve as the final escalation tier for platform issues Support can't resolve
- Lead vendor relationships — roadmap influence, escalation paths, engineering-level dialogue
- Partner with Corporate Security on SaaS hardening, third-party app governance, and compliance controls
- Own platform configuration as code — auditable, repeatable, and version-controlled
Requirements / Qualifications
- 8+ years building secure IT systems in complex environments
- Deep, hands-on experience with enterprise administration of Google Workspace and Slack
- Experience building integrations against SaaS APIs (beyond admin consoles)
- Ability to design and implement SSO and SCIM provisioning from the application side
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders
- Experience delivering complex projects from conception to production and writing clear documentation

- Practice modern development methods (code reviews, testing, CI/CD)

Technical Skills
Deep, hands-on experience with:
- Programming against SaaS APIs and SaaS API integrations (Python)
- Google Workspace administration
- Slack administration and Slack APIs
- Identity protocols and federation (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) and SCIM provisioning
- Enterprise collaboration platform architecture
- Security and compliance frameworks
Logistics
- Annual Salary: $275,000 - $325,000 USD
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required
- Location / Office policy: Remote-friendly with expectation to be in an office at least ~25% of the time (location-based hybrid policy)
