The Manager of Information Security Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization’s information security posture, including Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems and Key Management. Responsibilities
Security Operations Management:
- Manage the daily operations of the security operations team and vendors, ensuring the protection of the organization’s information assets.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-malware solutions, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Coordinate and manage the response to security incidents, including detection, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
Identity & Access Management (IAM):
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the IAM program.
- Ensure proper access controls are in place and enforced across all systems and applications.
- Manage IAM processes, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and role-based access control.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to identity and access management.
Key Management
- Responsible for the lifecycle management of cryptographic keys used in payment transactions.
- Manages specific software and hardware related to cryptographic keys and the associated processes.
- Ensures security around the production of credit cards.
- Collaborates with a card production company for this purpose.
- Provides memos with advice on cryptographic issues for the business.
- Manages inventory of the "plastic" used in the production of various credit cards.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide leadership and direction to the security operations, IAM teams, and key management teams.
- Develop and mentor team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with security vendors and service providers, ensuring the organization receives high-quality products and services.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of security operations and IAM with business objectives.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of security operations and IAM programs.
- Regularly report on the status of security operations and IAM to senior management.
- Ensure continuous improvement of security operations and IAM processes.
Requirements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in security operations, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Extensive knowledge of IAM systems, security operations, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of risk management and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
