Responsibilities

  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the strategic planning and execution for our IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
  • Network Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our corporate network, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all locations.
  • System Administration: Manage our server environments, both on-premises and in the cloud, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
  • Endpoint Device Management: Direct the lifecycle management of all endpoint devices, from procurement to deployment, maintenance, and eventual decommissioning, ensuring they meet security standards and user needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of network engineers, system administrators, and client platform engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Project Management: Spearhead infrastructure projects, from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget constraints.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure components comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining robust cybersecurity measures.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.
  • Innovation and Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize infrastructure, reduce costs, and introduce new technologies that enhance operational capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with senior management and other departments to align IT infrastructure strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading IT teams, in at least one of the following areas: network engineering, systems administration, and client platform engineering.
  • Experience with network architecture design, implementation, and maintenance, including both wired and wireless networks.
  • Experience in system administration, including server management and virtualization.
  • Knowledge of endpoint management, including deployment, security, and lifecycle management of devices.
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to IT infrastructure in corporate environments.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with business goals.
