Information about the position

The Manager of Moderation quality will play a major role in transforming and improving the quality of our decision-making at Vinted. This individual will be responsible for leading a 15+ person team, ensuring high-quality analyses on moderators decisions to drive improvements on knowledge, training, policies, processes and measures. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading moderation quality teams, optimising processes, and implementing technologies that create a “safe and fair place” to trade for members and add value to the business.
The role reports into the Senior Director of Content Quality Center of Excellence.

In this position, you’ll

  • Accountable for implementing the strategy and targets, to improve moderation decisions quality in alignment with company objectives;
  • Oversee the moderation quality teams, ensuring high-quality decision analyses and driving continuous improvements in quality processes, on all moderators decisions (external and internal), for all harmful content;
  • Responsible for prioritising and ensuring Team Leads initiatives are in alignment with strategy and objectives;
  • Ensures team’s org structure is the most effective, adaptable and scalable to reach targets;
  • Accountable for establishing and delivering on quality key performance targets aligned with the Content Quality strategy;
  • Partner with the Content Quality Operations organisation and Vendor Management in understanding decision’s quality, leading improvements projects and designing/optimising related policies/processes;
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams in improving the quality of decision-making at Vinted by ensuring consistency in quality data, monitoring data requests;
  • Partner with Business teams to support growth-related projects and Legal teams for compliance purposes;
  • Maintaining awareness of evolving industry standards and practices, researching current technology/tool trends and their application for the area.

About you

  • 5+ years of experience in content quality/moderation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role;
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data driven and strategic mindset;
  • Demonstrated success in leading moderation quality improvement initiatives;
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills;
  • Strong knowledge of harmful content management topics, with a focus on the anti-counterfeit area;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization;
  • Passion for fashion/luxury with an anti-counterfeit focus, second-hand, sustainability and a commitment to promoting sustainable practices within the fashion industry is a clear plus.
