Information about the position
We’re searching for a Marketing Planning Analyst to manage the financial operations of our marketing organization. Your core responsibility will be to manage the budgeting and reporting process for Marketing. You will be the main point of contact between the Marketing department and the Marketplace Performance & Planning and Finance teams. You will continually observe marketing performance, organize budget planning, and support central reporting requests and reporting for marketing as a whole.
As part of the Marketing Programs & Operations team, you will report to the team lead. This team supports Marketing leadership in defining strategy and planning by collaborating with marketing channels and brand owners to develop central marketing budget plans. These plans aim to grow our markets efficiently and scalably. This role suits people who wish to combine analytical, strategic, and project management skills to create impactful marketing proposals that can significantly impact business growth.

In this position, you’ll
- Manage Marketing budgeting and planning operations, acting as the main point of contact within Marketing.
- Drive a recurring process of collecting and consolidating planned budgets and investment cases from the Marketing teams for evaluation, approval, and sharing across the organization.
- Ensure budgets are developed soundly, and key assumptions are tested and challenged.
- Own reporting of Marketing results (Monthly Outlooks, Monthly Financial reporting, Channel level Performance reporting, Quarterly business reviews).
- Forecast main Marketing metrics for company-wide financial planning.
- Refine the framework, rhythm, and procedures to maximize the efficiency of all aspects of the Marketing budget planning and reporting process.
- Organize knowledge and prepare onboarding and training materials to educate the Marketing team about our budget planning and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with Marketing teams (Growth, Brand, MEM, Data Science), Strategy, Finance, and Shipping teams to improve and align Marketing financial reporting.
- Collaborate with Finance to refine Marketing planning and reporting procedures.
About you
- BSc/MSc in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a financial planning & analysis role
- Excellent analytical, numerical and financial skills
- Excellent at extracting, analyzing, and visualizing quantitative data in automated ways, using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL
- Structured and detail-oriented
- Experience in forecasting business/marketing metrics
- Good understanding of investment metrics
- Good at translating large amounts of quantitative data into key messages for decision makers
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced and changing environment, like a fast-growing tech company.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (it’s our working language).

The salary range for this position is € 3,200 - € 3,900 gross per month.
